Very disappointed / lost equipment
Brought my laptop in for a new hard drive. On the work order they don't note the make, model, serial no., etc. of the equip! They say there's no need b/c they're small and never lose equip. and instead put stickers on the equip w/ your last name.(I should have walked out at this point.) They had me sign paperwork, but wouldn't give me copies. They'll give you blanks, but no copies w/your signature. I asked them to make copies on their copy machine, but they claimed not to have one. (Did I walk out? No. Stupid me.) It cost me $300 to have a $100 hard drive installed. When I p/u'd my laptop they tried to give me back a diff. and inferior power cord. The sticker on it had my last name on it so they said it *had* to be mine. I wouldn't go for it. They ordered a new cord, but it didn't look new and it wasn't the model that I originally left with them. When I went to p/u the 2nd time, someone admitted that the 1st cord they tried to give me was wrong for my machine!! I make a stink about the cord, b/c they cost about $100 new! My opinion: they remove good parts from equip and install/return inferior parts. They installed remote access software w/o my permission so they could access my machine in theory to troubleshoot (w/ or w/o my knowledge). They added a password-protected admin user w/full access that I couldn't delete. There were also some weird registry entries. I ended up reformating the hard drive. What a waste of time, energy and money. Never again.

Use another company!
Don't be fooled by slick salemanship at quote time. You pay 1/3 down when you sign the contract, 1/3 when they start, and the final 1/3 upon completion. I signed the contract work started the next day. After they had 2/3 of my money, everything went downhill. Their communication is awful. The general contractor or one of his reps was never on site, instead I'd see them do drivebys, but they never stopped to discuss the project with me. They said people would be here on certain days and they weren't. Phone/voice messages went unreturned and then they claimed they never received them. The business address is a retail store that rents P.O. boxes, so there is no business office where you can go and talk to someone. They left materials in the street and on my property during the project, when I was promised they wouldn’t. They got behind schedule, which caused a domino affect with other work I had scheduled after they were to have finished. They caused damaged to my house doing the work, and caused even more damage trying to fix the initial damage. They were completely unapologetic about everything. The only time the general contractor or one of his reps called me or came to my door was when they wanted payments.

Pushy Sales Tactics- Office Stole Credit Card Info
A salesman came out and gave me a quote. It was a fair quote, but I was getting others and said I had to think about it. A few hours later two other salesmen come to home saying they didn't know why the first one was here. They said they'd beat his quote and if I had the work done the next day, they'd give me a further discount. I agreed and they came the next day. They didn't bring a stump grinder but said someone would come within a week to remove the stump. I insisted they remove the stump that day, so they went and got a grinder. The work was so-so.. but not bad. Here's the bad part. I called the office with my credit card to pay for the service, and the woman ended up stealing my credit card info. She bought a cruise, paid off utility bills, you name it. The company actually alerted me that they thought an employee was using my card. They were apologetic, but I still had to go through all the hassle of canceling my card, writing a police report, etc. It took me months to clear things up. Not sure who these people are hiring...

No show twice! Three months of wasted time..
I contacted Land Technics for lot clearing and grading of my residential property in mid-March of 2008.
Afterwards, concrete/block and landscape contractors were to come in and re-do everything.
It took me weeks to line up the other contracts and coordinate start times. Land Technics was to start its work in early May. The owner was to come to my home the Friday before the Monday start date to look at the property again. He didn't show up during the day Friday so I called him that night. He said he'd be short staffed the following week. He sounded really tenative and said he could start, but didn't know how far they'd get, or when they'd finish. He said an employee had to go out of town to visit a sick relative and two other employees were going with...? I live in an HOA community, so I couldn't have my yard torn up for an unknown amount of time. So I had to reschedule. This caused a domino affect with the concrete/block and the landscapers who were to come in immediately after. I was unable to reschedule them, so I had to find new contractors. Land Technics told me to contact them again when I had lined up new contractors.
It tooks me a month (early June), but I found a single contractor to do all the concrete /block/ landscaping work. The block /concrete/ landscaper contacted Land Technics to coordinate project start dates. Land Techics gave the them a date. Land Technics did not show up. They did not call me or the landscaper.

These guys are the best!
Where do I start?? This company was wonderful! They showed up when they said they would, did the work as promised, and completed the work ahead of schedule! Traci is the best and the crew here was friendly and respectful of my property. Prior to, during, and even after my job, they were easy to reach by phone and email. If ever I did have to leave a message, they always promptly got back to me. I highly recommend them! My yard went from an eye sore to one of the best-looking yards on the block! I'd call them again in an instant!
