Brian Bowles is the Best
I purchased a vehicle at Coulter recently. This is the 5th car I have purchased from various dealers in the past 2 years, due only to my short attention span. At Coulter, I worked with 3 different sales people, and Brian was by-far the most motivated and thorough salesperson I worked with. He went above and beyond to get me the car I wanted at the price I was willing to pay. The next car I purchase will be from this dealership, and I hope from Brian Bowles. Ask for him by name, if you decide to invest in American. I completed 90% of the purchase via email and phone, and very little time was spent in the dealership and NO time was spent with the typical dealership 4-square crap. Awful and Disturbing
I tried working with Jose Ruiz and his manager John (something). Jose was fantastic. John, on the other hand, was one of the rudest and most arrogant people I have ever dealt with in the car industry or in ANY sales position. He explained to me how lucky I was that he spent time with me, and that anyone else would have not wasted their time with me. He swore/cursed at me during conversation, not taking into regard whether I would or would not be offended. When I explained that I met with salespeople at Bill Luke and wanted to see if he had anything in stock to match - and that I had $4000 to put down. He did not give me the chance to talk and explain myself. He lectured me on how long he was in the business and all he needed was a calculator to figure out how the world works. He also explained that he knows how every bank in car finance works and what they offer. He told me to go back to Bill Luke, and he was not interested in my business. Keep in mind, I only have a 2003 BMW M3 to trade in and a combined income of $XXX,000 to offer. I am happy to give their neighbors my business. Also, when I asked to talked to John's manager because he was so rude, he explained that he has no manager and the location was his. Unreal and little wonder as to why people don't buy Chrysler. In my opinion John should be fired, soon.

Does not stand behind their "Certified" Cars
Three things I asked to be done to the car prior to agreeing to purchase: 1. The door lock did not work with the remote. That was fixed perfectly. 2. The front window rattled. I was told that was fixed, but found out later it wasn't fixed. More on that in a minute. 3. The tires were bald to the point of being dangerous. The front tires were replaced and I found out later that the rears were not. Within the first 20 hours of owning this "certified" vehicle, I was driving along and the "new" front tire completely blew out and shredded. The tread separated from the walls. I was stuck on the freeway for over an hour, waiting for a tow. After about 2 hours, Luxor decided the only option was to put the old, bald tire back on the vehicle. So I drove the car with old bald tire and it took Luxor an entire week to get a new front tire in stock. No one ever called me - I always initiated. Into my second week of ownership, the driver's side window still rattled and the tint now had a chunk missing plus 2 scratches going up and down the middle of the window. Another problem was the brakes were making a metal-on-metal scraping noise. So I made an appointment with Chapman BMW and here's their review: Window fixed under warranty Metal on metal = new brakes needed $1520 Torn bushings/old rear tires replaced = $1320 "Certified Vehicle" from Luxor bought less than one month ago will cost me $3000 to fix. Luxor does not return ANY communications. BAD BUSINESS!

So Far So Good...
Most repair shops tell you to come in and see them regarless of the question. Babbitt recommended I wait and told me when I need service. Prices estimated over the phone were good. I was looking for some misc. upgrades and Eric was very honest as to the real outcome, saying I'd be wasting my money based on the results I was looking for. I appreciate that kind of honesty. My first oil change is free from the dealership I purchased my car from. After that, I'm making this my shop.
