Review of Essence Day Spa The dilemma: “What do you give the person who has everything?” Hardly an original question; but when your favorite person on the planet is having a “milestone” birthday, it’s certainly one that you want to answer in the most original way you can. My answer: Essence Day Spa. Essence only had one Internet review, which was excellent; and it should have been. The entire experience, from booking the appointment to the relaxed look my mom had when I picked her up from her Combo message and pedicure, was exemplary. In a non-descript strip mall, is a beautiful, tranquil oasis. Everything about Essence sets the mood for calm; the soft lighting, rich dark colors and comfortable furniture in the reception area, the music and the people. I was particularly impressed with the staff. They all struck a nice balance between friendly and professional, with absolutely no dash or pushy or snobby. So, to Anji, Marius, Kory, and Eliana, thank you all so very much for helping me make my mom’s “milestone” birthday, extra special. To everyone reading this review, Essence has a wide selection of messages, facials, manicures and pedicures. Each of the services can be tailored to the tastes of the client.
