Lots of books, videos, dvd's and games here. A very well stocked store, if you are looking for a rare book than you will probably find it here! Good staff too.

Bookmans is the place you want to go to when you need something from the rare book section. You can also find different selections of used PC games and game consoles. The books are oldies but goodies. If you're looking to sell books for cash here, don't do it though. It's a better deal if you trade for store credit.

This location of Bookman's doesn't have the selection as the other site in Tucson. It caters to more of the college set (close to U of A) and the parking is very limited.

Trading is easy. They have a birthday program that sends a $5 gift certificate to you on your birthday. Lots of books to choose from. Check here before you buy new. Two ladies even came to my house to buy a large amount of books, so I didn't have to cart them all in.

My family and I love to frequent Bookman's on Grant and on Speedway . They have a large selection of used (and sometimes new) books, DVDs, knick-knacks, clothes, CDs, toys, video games, and even furniture. We often bring things in from our home that we no longer need. You are then given a choice of store credit or cash for the items that they decide to buy. We usually take the credit because you get more for your money that way. I like their 100% guarantee on everything in the store. My kids love the kid's section where they feel special because of their own section. There's also a room which you can reserve for conferences. The bathroom decor at Bookman's on Speedway is very nice one of the best public bathrooms I've been in. The employees at Bookman's are also very helpful with finding stuff that I need. Although I would like to see more college textbooks, the place has a great selection on everything.

Bookmans offers it all! They have very reasonable prices on used books, magazine, video games, movies, DVD's, records, tapes, CD's etc to accomadate everyones taste! I love coming here and be able to sit back and relax while gazing thru books to see if I would like to purchase them. The staff is amazing and twice a day they randomly thru their registers choose someone to give there purchase to free of charge. I was lucky enought to be that person one day!

PROS: Great Staff, Prices and Selection
CONS:

Bookman's has it all- lots of selection (kids books, non fiction, fiction, text books, CDs, DVD's, sheet music, etc) and very reasonable prices. I love to browse here and ofton sell books for in store credit. They also offer cash for sellers, but I've found that getting trade credit is a better deal. The only thing Bookmans doesn't have is an in-store cafe.

Bookmans is a great used bookstore. In addition, they also have tons of music, DVDs, videos and games. My daughter loves to go in a pick out her own books. Its hard to sell books to them sometimes because they often dont buy the books I have or they offer too little, but its still a great place. The employees are always very knowledgeable and friendly as well.

Finding a good read and saving money at the same time is so exciting. I enjoy wondering in there to find an assortment of subjects. I love their section on cookbooks. I am always picking up cookbooks and adding them to my collection. I love shopping in there because they always have new stuff. Not only do they get brand new stuff, they get people's old stuff and stock it in there too. So you come across some very special stuff in there. You can buy a new book, read it, take it back, get some money back and use that money to buy more stuff. It is truly a great treasure hunt. Highly recommended.
