Salon Tru

I never do reviews, but I thought I really needed to after I read one bad review on Salon Tru about Michael. I was in deserate need to find a stylist who wouldn't turn my hair brassy or damage it with too many chemicals and I was having a hard time. I went through 5 different stylists and finally decided to do some research. I began my research and found several positive responses on the salon..but there was one negative one and I couldn't shake it until I read Michael's response to her and was sold. Michael (the owner) did wonders with my brassy hair and made it look natural and healthy. I was amazed how he took his time with me and wasn't rushing me out the door. He didn't smell like cigarette smoke (which was refreshing) and I enjoyed talking with him. I still can't believe how good my color looks. FINALLY I found my stylist. I've never been happier. I am going to refer him to anyone who gets color.

Had my first visit there last week, walked out looking and feeling like a rock star!!! LOVE that they have Aveda too :)

If you are looking for an Aveda salon, this is the one! I go to Katina, and she is the BEST stylist I have been to ever. My color and cut always get compliments and I send anyone who asks to her. Great salon in a great location!

Salon Tru and Michael Schoenfeld are great. I have gone to Tru for 8 years and have always gotten what I wanted. Every single time. If its not right the first time (which it usually is), it gets corrected. Cut and color.

As for the woman who rated Michael and the receptionists in such a poor light, try Great Clips. I hear they do wonderful things for chunky redheads The receptionists ask when you are checking out if you want to add gratuity to your total credit card charge as a convenience to the customer, they don't "request" it.

Salon Tru and it's owner Michael Shoenfeld really know how to do blond! I have lived all over the country and it is always a challenge to find a stylist who really gets it. Micheal does! He turned my middle age gray/brown to a honey blond with just the right touch of highlights. I walk out of there looking like I came from a very high priced California salon. And it is not just middle age gals he does right. My 18 year old daughter went to him and she has a full mane of golden hair. He does such a superb job that most people assume it is her natural color. Michael Shoenfeld and Salon Tru a real find!!!

I went to see Michael as being highly recommended for the highlights and the hair cut. Came out without any visible changes; simple red that was supposedly two reds, per his suggestion, as being the most permanent came out after the first wash; just a touch of cut; the intent was to have the large chunks of color so that I can see the changes. For $150?!! Plus, the aggressive receptionist requested 'gratuity'; on top of 150!! With nothing done to my hair! Do not go there

Michael (the owner) does wonders with color! He matches that with the best cut for your color! I totally recommend him. I also had a facial done therevery good and very affordable. My face was glowing for a week after it! Will be back!

Mike is great. He listens to what I want and I always leave loving how it looks. The cut is great so I am able to keep my hair looking good. Both myself and my daughter get our hair done by Mike. I appreciate the flexible hours of this salon as well.
