great service first time
i had a problem with my a/c unit. of course, when brian showed up the problem did not occur. but he diagnosed the problem based on what i told him. i was hesitant because i had said to myself, this guy works fast, is he really going to get it right? well, i can say he did. my a/c has been working like a champ since he fixed the problem over a month ago. don't hesitate, these guys are good.

Thanks Again Silver Fox
Fixed a kitchen drain clog a cheaper, more mom and pop setup could not. Not cheap, but prompt, well equipped, and get the job done right. Even cleaned up the floors a bit when done. Wish I had called them first recently.

I received my estimate to repair my HVAC system, The job was completed in same day

The best decision I ever made!
If you are looking for heating/cooling service with honesty, integrity and reasonable prices, look no further.
It is rare that one can take a chance with a company from which they have no personal recommendation.
However, Silver Fox Plumbing AC & Heating If you are looking for heating/cooling service with honesty, integrity and reasonable prices,
look no further. Silver Fox Plumbing Heating & AC has proved to be a wonderful company.
On the warmest day of the summer, I found myself without working cool air, the service person responded quickly,
solved the problem with the AC Honesty, Empathy, Integrity and Heating Business, not usually in the same sentence.
I will continue to use Silver Fox for my heating maintenance and any repair I should need. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended.

Good Value and Honest People
A neighbor recommended Silver Fox Plumbing AC & Heating to us--she had been very pleased with
the results of her repair--we called, they arrived on time, did a thorough
analysis, provided an estimate that day, and started the repairs.
They arrived on time, were very friendly and professional in their installation
--it was done on time, at the cost they estimated--and we are very pleased with
the work they performed and will always us them to service my Air Conditioner.

I couldnt be Happier
I called early on a Saturday morning and within an hour I had J.P. at my house. Did an amazing job fixing my swamp cooler and I just couldn't be happier with the money he saved me and the service performed. I highly recommend silver fox and will use them solely in the future for all AC/Swamp cooler issues.

Customer friendly!
Called for appt, offered same day service. Tech was not only on time but early! Given partial credit for parts that had warranties. Was also told there is a 10% senior citizen discount which I was hoping for since my parents are retired and the repair bill was fairly high. Called their office right after appt, told me I had to speak to the tech. Discount was denied by service tech stating he already gave a good deal. In review by Jim2679, Silver Fox responds saying freon should not ever need to be added since A/C's are sealed systems but his tech charged $278 for freon even though he could not detect a leak anywhere visually. Watched him check for leak with his leak detecting equiptment and still no leak detected.
Follow-up: Spoke to company owner, very friendly and accomodating. Cleared up misunderstanding and honored the senior citizen discount. Explained that freon leak could be somewhere other than in the unit, possibly in the walls. Given the resolution, I would recommend this company. They seem to be fair and honest afterall!!

Customers Are Always Right & You Are Right!
In your review you mentioned you did not receive a 10% discount on your invoice. Well I guess you were right. You did not receive the 10% discount – you received 30% discount, way more than 10% (take a look at your invoice and it shows your savings which should equal 30%). You are also right in that an AC system is a sealed system and should not require refrigerant. In your case your system MUST have a leak and did require refrigerant. JP (our highly skilled technician) could not visibly detect where that leak was and you would not authorize him to perform an extensive leak check so he filled the system to specs and informed you it could possibly leak out again over time. Yes JP was on time, actually ahead of time and offered you fast friendly service. Obviously you are not happy with the 30% discount so just to prove the type of company we run you are welcome to contact our office and I will give you another 10% off for a total of a 40% savings. So that Freon charge of $278 will only cost you $167. Call around and try to get that deal from another licensed AC company. Beyond The Call Of Duty
I came home to find that my water heater had been
leaking the whole time I was away. Silver Fox sent a
technician out that afternoon and not only replaced my water heater, but cleaned up the excess water that had leaked onto my Garage floor. They certainly go above and beyond the call of duty.

Evap
We purchased a brand new Evaporative Cooler approx 4 yrs ago for $1700. October 2008 started experiencing problems, past warranty date. Specified on ppwrk not an electrical issue, but this year we experienced the same issues and was advised we need a board, which will cost $600. Shady service, do not recommend

DON’T SHOOT THE SERVICE TECH!!!
Harvey The Silver Fox here . Let me share a similar service problem I personally had with a refrigerator I bought a couple years ago.
Recently my high end refrigerator quit working. I contacted the store I bought the refrigerator from and, can you believe it, they had taken bankruptcy! Unheard of this day and age! I then called the manufacturer and they referred me to a local service company who specializes in fixing my refrigerator. After intense negotiation with the service company they finally came to my house to fix my refrigerator (I had to place my food in a cooler for 3 days). They informed me my WARRANTY expired and I would need to pay $500 for the fix. They explained the problem was a common manufacture defect.
Was the service technician or our company at fault? NO!
The Silver Fox is still in business and responded to your service problem (after 4 years of dependable service for your EVAP) within a day. Your warranty expiring meant the manufacturer – not The Silver Fox – would not pay for the board. I’d say you received fast, dependable service even though the news was bad from the service tech.
May I suggest you contact the manufacturer to see if they will stand behind their product after 4 years of service. Oh – that’s right. Master Cool took bankruptcy a few months ago – sorry.
