Amazing Quality & Service
We just installed a new Lennox heat pump today. My husband has recently had a severe stroke and has lost his language abilities (he speaks, but none of the words make sense) so I was concerned about trying to work with anyone to get a new system. My husband has a Masters degree in Engineering, so is very picky about small details and without language skills, I knew this could be a nightmare.

The salesman from Magic Touch took an extraordinary amount of time with us and communicated with my husband extremely well. He actually understood more of what my husband wanted than I did. The price he quoted was well below what we had been quoted by another company in the spring before the stroke. That coupled with the incredible salesman tipped the scales for Magic Touch. We checked out their BBB and Registrar of Contractor's records and were sold.

The installation crew showed up on time and did the most professional job I've ever seen of an installation, despite the fact that our space for the air handler was extremely tight. They were professional and very pleasant to work with. Again, they were very patient with my husband's inability to communicate and took extra time to make sure he understood everything. They didn't even mind that he wanted to watch every move they made. I've never seen him this pleased with any work performed by any contractor.

Thanks so much for the professionalism and the patience with us.

Learn from me; just call Magic Touch
Last year I had my downstairs ac replaced by a company that I met at the; rhymes with Dome Depot. It was a nightmare to say the least. I thought Dome Depot would "guaranty" the work but was sadly mistaken. Let's just say I now shop at rhymes with; Towes. I was much more careful in the selection of a company to replace my upstairs ac and chose Magic Touch. What a difference in the level of service, quality, and professionalism. All this and for less then the cost of the other guys. I had them look at the other companys instillation and give me a price to make it right ($2,200) and they were careful not to bad mouth the other company - very professional - although I could see it in their faces as they looked at each other. Word of caution to kudzu'ers; do your home work check every resource you can think of because the good companies like Magic Touch stand way out in front of the rest. Competitors "Watch Out"
Called on a Sunday. A real voice answers and sets me up with service the same day. Tim arrives and does a thorough inspection on my Trane Unit. Identifies the issues. My Trane unit is back on track! First time customer and signed up for the Gold Maintenance Program too. Quality OEM parts,expert service, and communication should be the HIGHEST standard for all companies. Fast & Trustworthy
Within 30 minutes of calling, Sam (The Man) was at our door. He thoroughly went over all three of our air conditioning units and pinpointed the problems in each. He repaired everything the same day so that we would be comfortable that night. Furthermore, he gave us a ton of tips as to how we could save money on our electric bills (something SRP was very unhelpful in doing). Sam really seemed to care about us and our home, and it felt like he went above and beyond to make sure our A/C units are no longer going to be troublesome. I would highly recommend to anyone. They weren't exactly cheap, but they were fast, thorough and fair.

Magic Touch!
I was without AC for months after a visit from a lesser service company said I only needed a coil cleaning. There was no change after cleaning. As Summer approached, cooler air was at the top of my list. I looked here on KUDZU for customer reviews on AC service companies. Magic Touch had obvious high marks so I called. Technician Jack measured low R22 level. Brass service caps were also missing. He explained pricing then did the work. R22 and brass caps! The temperature in my home dropped immediately. I do plan to replace this 1987 Bryant, until then, my house is a nice place to be when it's 110-degrees outside.

A dirty evap coil and low refrigerant cause the same symptoms and require a well trained technician to decipher which one is the actual problem. Jack, like our other technicians regularly attends training and continuing education classes for this very reason. We believe in helping our technicians achieve the highest certifications possible such as NATE certification for this very reason. Fantastic Service and company!
I have used Magic Touch for at least ten years now and have always been more then happy with their service and response times. I started using them when the owner Rich still came out to my house (Hi Rich!). I haven't seen him in several years but the service is still as good now as it was then and I'm sure if I needed to speak with him I could still get him on the phone quite easily because that is the way he does business. Bottom line; they know their stuff and have great customer service and I gladly give them five stars on kudzu.com!

I can't tell who you are because of these Kudzu nicknames but yes, my cell phone is still printed on my business cards and I still take everyones phone calls...and always will. It is customers like yourself who have made the company the great success it has become and I will never forget it. We may have grown quite a bit larger over the years but I'm still very much involved in the day to day of the company and still love what I do. I haven't turned a wrench in a while because I'm needed for other things in the company but I make sure that all of our staff give the same quality and focus to our clients that I would if it were me working on their system. Good Choice
I think magic touch air was a good choice when I needed an air conditioning company to repair my ac. The workman was very nice and explained what I needed in a clear and polite manner. He spent about an hour and forty minutes making repairs and it cost a little more then $400 for a new fan motor, capasitor, and relay switch. The woman who took my call was very nice and worked around my schedule. Magic Touch Air is a good choice if you need ac work. R.S.-Queen Creek

Been here 4x and still not repaired!
Magic touch has been to my house 5x with four different techs and they still haven't fixed my A/C :(

It all started w/a burnt transformer making it so the line was open - compressor wouldn't turn on and neither would the air handler, even manually. That was replaced, and the tech (Sergio) was kind enough to put a fuse in-line with it to prevent it from burning out again. Good job by him there. Unfortunately, he didn't diagnose the real problem. The A/C went out again on Sunday morning. Sergio came back, replaced a fuse, and patched some wiring he claimed may be causing a short. He also removed a "stripped" wire behind the thermostat. The wire wasn't stripped the day before when I had the thermo off the wall before he got there.

3 weeks later, A/C is out again. Lathe stopped by and replaced the fuse, also removed a section of the thermo wire outside that I had showed him. It had some damage to the insulation. He left, confident it was repaired (he didn't cut it! just put elec tape over the damage!)

The next weekend it went out again. Sam stopped by, replaced a fuse, re-did the wiring, and replaced a relay on the outdoor unit. He left, confident it was repaired.

They came one last time, replaced a relay. It still wasn't the issue. I got fed up and troubleshot it myself. Thank you, Magic Touch, for trying and sending multiple techs out. Didn't work out to be a good value for either of us in this case. Unfortunate situation for both of us, I guess.

Update 9/3: droobie21, I know Michele & you spoke in detail this weekend and you were going to edit your review, and our Service Manager is visiting you today. I reviewed all of the invoices and noticed a few things you didn't mention here. On our 1st visit Sergio noted that he found your unit was "miswired", "there was no wiring schematic or model# on your unit to work from" and therefore "could not warranty the work". Upon leaving your unit was cooling with no shorts detected. When the unit short happened the next day despite the fact he stated no warranty on the first invoice...he made repairs at no charge and again the equipment was working properly when he left. The equipment ran for three weeks and again an intermittent short. This time Lathe thought he had found what could be causing the short, made repairs, replaced the fuse and left with the unit cooling AGAIN AT NO CHARGE despite the verbiage on the first invoice. The unit ran for 1 week and no short was found after replacing the fuse. At this time Sam recommended running new thermostat wire and replacing a relay. You declined these recommended repairs so Sam could NOT be 100% confident the problem was fixed as the short at this point had been intermittent and not happening while we were there. As you told Michele you were an engineer you must realize that an intermittent short that is not happening while the technician was there can be VERY difficult to trace down. The techs, that have been out to your home are highly qualified and hold the highest of certifications...they want to find the short as much as you do! Low voltage shorts can be impossible to track down if they are not constant. We don't want to start guessing and changing parts at your expense if the problem is not happening while we were there although the thermostat wire or relay are the most likely culprits hence Sam recommending them. Thank you for being understanding and being so nice with Michele on the phone. Trust me when I say we REALLY would like this short to rear its ugly head so we can fix it and we are all happy! Your two no charge repairs and now sending our most senior tech at no charge are our way of showing you how much we appreciate you as a customer and our commitment to your satisfaction. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for both of us! Sincerely, Rich Morgan / President Update 9/3: Tom found that the problem was in fact the relay Sam had suggested replacing on his last visit, a suggested repair which was declined. It turns out that the relay which was in the unit was not even the correct relay and was not installed by us. Droobie21, I hope at this point we have earned 5 stars in your eyes & recognize that we have given 100% to finding your problem and repairing it (most of it at our expense). I would appreciate if you would update your review as promised & if we haven't earned 5 stars ..please call me and allow me to know why, so we can.

Fantastic weekend service!!! IT IS SOOO HOT THIS WEEKEND AND MAGIC TOUCH CAME TO MY RESCUE. LAST WEEK I HAD ANOTHER COMPANY OUT AND CLAIM BUYING A NEW AIR UNIT WAS MY ONLY OPTION. I CANT AFFORD A NEW ONE RIGHT NOW AND WANTED TO BREAK DOWN AND CRY. MY SISTER IN LAW USES MAGIC TOUCH AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED I CALL THEM TO VERIFY WHAT THE FIRST COMPANY SAID. MAGIC TOUCH FOUND THE PROBLEM - FIXED IT - AND SAID ALTHOUGH I SHOULD CONSIDER GETTING A NEW AIR UNIT BECAUSE MINE IS SO OLD THERE WAS NO REASON I NEEDED TO SPEND THE WHOLE WEEK WITHOUT AIR. THEY FIXED IT FOR $300 AND THE OTHER COMPANY TOLD ME IT WOULD COST THOUSANDS JUST TO GET AIR AGAIN. THANK YOU FOR BEING HONEST AND COMPETENT MAGIC TOUCH YOU REALLY ARE #1

Good Place
I called on Tuesday night and the friendly CSR had me down for an appointment the next afternoon. I received a call the next afternoon telling me the tech was on his way! The technician arrived on time and was friendly and courteous. Even though we couldn't afford to fix our problem at the moment we shopped around pricing and found they were indeed reasonable for what was needed. We will definitely recommend this company. ESPECIALLY Lathe! Kudos! The customer service makes the company!
