A True Professional in every sense!
I have been through 3 landscapers who "claim" that they know what they are doing, but don't. The last one, I found on tofixit.com, the website that is "supposedly" only highly recommended companies. Well I can tell you that is not the case at all. In fact, that was the absolute worst landscaper yet! I hired him to turn my tiny little yard of grass into rock because of a problem that I was having with the sprinkler system for the grass, which NO ONE seemed to know how to fix. After continually pushing the job off for 3 weeks in a row, then taking 2 days to do the job, he had done the lousiest job I've ever seen! There was still grass all along the edges, it looked like he just dumped the rock and left (didn't smooth it out) and he didn't even dig a trench for the riverbed, he just laid the rip rap on top of the rock! What the ???? Within a couple of days, there was tons of grass growing up through the rocks! So I saw the reviews on this website and I hired Steve to pull up the rock and dig the riverbed trench, lay down the PROFESSIONAL GRADE material to stop the grass and weeds from growing up through the rock (not the Home Depot stuff that was used by the previous guy, which OBVIOUSLY does NOT work!) and then re-lay the rock. What a difference!!! It looks like a totally different yard, and it only took them 2 hours to do! It's been 2 weeks now and no sign of grass or weeds! His team is extremely professional and KNOW what they are doing!!!! That is a rarity!

Recommanded to all my friends
Mail dropped on Monday, call back the same day and quote gone the same night. Visit the Wednesday and work the Friday. Quick, Professional, Cleaned better than was before and with top quality material. Will reuse him anytime. Perfect.

Nothing but the best
I would like to thank Steve for his patients with me along this whole project. I called 6 companies and 4 of them were through kudzu with high reviews. I met with Steve in the middle and he did not bring out any samples like the rest but he did not shy away from any questions I threw at him, he knew what he was talking about and answered me honestly and very quick with out hesitation unlike most of the others who i interviewed. He was also not a "salesman" he was a normal guy who wasnt dressed fancy and didnt get pushy and once again i cant say that about most of the others as well. I was semi hesitant to go with him due to his lack of samples and young age. I was most impressed by steves knowledge and the fact he was not only designing my project but also supervising and very easy to get into contact with the whole time. This was more than likely the best decision i made when picking a contractor and his quality is unbeatable, i am normally very picky and extreamly hard to please but this time i only griped once during this adventure (normally its daily). Great company and i would recommended them to not only my friends, family and neighbors but to everyone else as well. Kudos to Steve, cece and the rest of the great crew!

Price and Quality Excellent
Steve and crew really changed the look of my yards! They (the yards) are beautiful. And the work was performed exactly according to plan. Steve was very patient while the HOA reviewed the plan and gave approval. And Steve was very understanding when I asked for bid revisions as I added more work to the plan. I am very pleased with the results.

Quick and Easy
It was simple to use Az 1st choice. I called and set up an appointment, a sales rep came by the next day. He explained my options to me for my price range and what I wanted. i chose what we thought would suit me best, then 2 days later they showed up and went to work on my property. 4 days after that i have pavers and a bbq island along with a firepit. Easy and simple with great honest service, highly recommended

Nice company and crew
I called over 2 months ago for an estimate on my backyard and finally made my decision last week. I called Az 1st choice and they sent someone out who looked over the estimate and told me they can get a crew on it within 2 business days. I upgraded my original pavers from concrete to travertine and that wasnt a problem at all and they even gave me their currant discount they had going for this month. I agreed on a start date and they started on time. now i have a great fireplace and bbq island with a small paver pad to sit and enjoy my fireplace in the cooler months coming. Thank you az 1st choice and kudzu for making this all possible. Highly referred by not only myself but my family also

Fantiastic Responce And Service
I called Az 1st Choice and left a message and i received a phone call back within 20 minutes. Steve set up an appointment with me and came out that same day later in the evening. he told me give him 2 days to do the cad drawing and get a quote together and left. the next day he called and emailed me the drawing and the quote. i looked it over and we agreed to get started soon as possible. his crew started 2 days later and had my whole yard completed in under 5 days. i had to call him with a few questions during this process and he either called me back within minutes if he was unavailable or answered right then. i love this company and i can not believe there great service and quality. Great job guys your the best in my book :)

Tremendous from start to finish
Steve and crew were phenomenal. They were on time, reliable, and finished just as they originally stated. We had them landscape the backyard with plenty of pavers, a built in bbq, and granite/plants, along with a stucco wall to hide our pool equipment. Even though we didn't ask, they threw in an extra 50 sq ft of pavers where the built in bbq was placed. Additionally, at the last minute we decided to have some lighting installed and they did it at no charge. Steve kept me in the loop every step of the way and always returned my calls, usually within minutes. Tremendous service throughout the entire project. Their prices are reasonable and their quality is top notch. I'd highly recommend Steve and co. to anyone looking for some hardscaping/landscaping work. Thanks again to Steve and company!

Fantastic Work
Arizona 1st Choice Landscaping does great work and they are very fast! We are so happy with our pavers and the installation was flawless. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

Does not work in *Chandler * (south of Ocotillo)
Called based on good reviews here (shows up as 15 miles from 85249) but they said that they do not work beyond Ocotillo road in Chandler and we are a mile south of Ocotillo road. Interesting approach... how many customers does that alienate? Ignore my rating since I had to chose a star for each... cannot be rated since does not service parts of Chandler!
