Sun Valley Pediatric Urgent Care, PC.

I cant believe anyone would actually write anything awful about this Ped. Urgent Care!!! I have 2 small children and my youngest is constantly getting sick!! I learned of this place from a friend almost 2 years ago and ive been taking my kids there ever since! i only take them to their PCP when they need shots, otherwise we only see Dr. Philips and his staff,theyre wonderfull! The DR takes his time and really cares about what he is doing!!! I recommend him to everyone!!!!

What a relieve to finally find a urgent care facility that speacalizes in pediatrics!! I have been taking my 3 children, whose ages vary from 14-4, to see Dr. Phillips for over 3 years. The staff has always been effecient and kind. We have a regular PCP, whom we love, but when they can't get us in we always head towards Sun Valley, without a doubt the best in it's class!

We have 2kids and we 've been to a lot of pediatricians including our family doctor and we 've never seen the quality of care experienced at sun valley pediatric urgent care.pediatrician is very knowledgeable and takes time to understand the symptoms before rushing to give a treatment.everywhere else the doctor will spend a max of 5 minutes tops with you and your kid..not in sun valley.This is the first doctor we noticed who tries to cure the origin of the sickness as opposed to just treating the symptoms.We need more doctors like that.We drive all the way from cross town and happy to do it,our kids well been is well worth the drive.

I have two children and I have been to several doctors, and by far he is the best. He is very knowledgeable. He takes time to listen to you and explains in simple words the problems. But the more important thing for me is that he takes time to make my kids comfortable. I wish he could open a regular practice, so I can have him as my kid’s regular pediatrician. I have other urgent cares closer to me, but I don't care driving 10 minutes more to get the best for my kids. I even find my self taking my kids to him instead of their pediatrician, this is how happy I am with Dr. Phillips. I always recommend him to my friends

We took our son who was very ill to Sun Valley Pediatric Urgent Care at Chandler.

We have never had a better experience any where else. Dr. Philips was the first Doctor who ever took the time to listen to the parents. He was very good with my son and made him comfortable by sitting next to him and playing with him.

My son received excellent care and in an hour's time he was sitting and playing with toys. Dr. Philips explained that he sees the child for just 10 or 15 minutes, but we, as parents see the child all the time. Therefore it was very important that we knew as much as possible about our child's illness and he sat down with us and explained everything in detail in simple language. The very first time we were leaving a doctor knowing what exactly was going on with our child.

While leaving the Urgent Care, I told the parents in the waiting room what a wonderful experience we had and the response from several parents was "We know, We wish he had his own practice".

We will definitely recommend Sun Valley Pediatric Urgent Care to any one without any hesitation.

My two year old daughter had a fever over 104 and we waited over an hour to see the doctor in a practically empty waiting room. She looked terrible. Meanwhile the office staff was talking about their personal lives and did not have any problem cussing and using various four letter words while at the front desk.
When we finally went in to see the doctor, he was courteous and efficient, and did help get my daughter's fever down.
Although this office is only five minutes from my house, I'd definitely go somewhere else for proper pediatric care.

Dr. Phillips is a wonderful pediatrician. I will definately use this urgent care again, a great man!

This urgent care facility is wonderful! The kid friendly medical facility incorporates a wildlife theme for each room. When an emergency has occur ed for one of my children, the urgent care is only 5 minutes from my home and it is very convenient. Dr. Phillips loves children and you can see within him that he enjoys caring for children. The facility is quick, efficient and you can expect a reliable diagnosis for your child. My kids prefer to go to the urgent care because of the freeze pop that Dr. Phillips gives at the end of the visit [very smart idea].I highly recommend this facility in the event of an emergency and it doesn't take all night to be seen!

My husband took in our 2-year-old who fell and cut his knee at the park. After the doctor checked his injury and confirmed he needed stitches, he went on to explain that he could not help. While the doctor admitted that they used to do stitches and that he could administer stitches himself, he said that it inconvenienced other patients who had to wait longer than usual. Ironically, on this occasion, there were no other patients in the urgent care. How "inconvenienced" was my husband to have to take our crying and bleeding child and his infant brother back into the car and off to the hospital??? Absolutely disgraceful!
