Not only do my friend and I go monthly, but when my daughters visit, I have to make an appointment for them while here. All of their staff is so professional and make each client feel so special. In addition they are all so good at what they do, you can always be sure of leaving with that wonderful feeling. The day of my appointment is a red letter day on my calendar! Beverly

I recently moved to this area and tried another place before I tried Essence, big mistake!!!! I have had several facials, massage and a pedicure here and will never go anywhere else. I have a pretty stressful life, buy after spending some time in a deep tissue massage with Daniel I feel amazing!!!! They have great deals and an awesome program to earn points for referrals, or just for making another appointment. The atmosphere is so calming and everyone is very sweet. Make an appointment! You won't be diasapointed!!!!

I had the most amazing facial at Essence. I highly recommend this establishment. It is a calming, soothing environment, the staff was professional and I was shocked that there was no hard sell at the end of my service. I will certainly be going back.

We scheduled our office Christmas party there with a group of 7. Everyone was delighted with the services and left with a happy spa glow. We have been to many spas with the same group in past years including Desert Ridge and Camelback Inn. Day spas are not on the same scale as the large resorts as far as facilities and variety of services, but they do offer personalized attention that was excellent. We were very happy and will be back.

I have been to many spas and massage therapists over the years and Essence Day Spa is THE ABSOLUTE BEST I have ever been to. I go on a notably regular basis and can honestly say that I couldn't function without them! The owners of Essence are two of the most caring and customer oriented people I have ever met. Shenna (my massage therapist) is amazing and has truly changed my life with regards to pain management and relaxation techniques. Elliana gives the most amazing pedicures and manicures. So whether you go to a spa to relax, for pain management, a girls day out.don't pass up a chance to experience this spa! I would have never guessed the transformation that takes place once you step inside the door - it is like you have been transferred to another worldserene, peaceful, rejuvenating.I just can't say enough wonderful things about this place! And their incentive program and rewards points (on top of their completely reasonable base prices) make it completely affordable and MUCH cheaper than other spas. This is truly a personal favorite and you couldn't ask for more sincere and caring service.

A strip mall is not where you might think you would find a world class spa with superb pricing, but believe me this day spa is world class. I have been to many day spa's and Essence is the finest and most servicing of them all. Not only is the atmosphere outstanding but the service is superior. You immediately "sense" care, calm, peace and comfort. All staff are trained continually in their craft. The owners are personable and are seeking to provide the best experience. The staff they have carry out this outcome in a professional way that engages to your desired level of what you want to get from the various spa services. A visit is a MUST! You will not regret it. This is not just a decadence but a must for good self care. Incentive programs make it possible along with very good basic fees. Take friends and have a spa day outing or just enjoy it on your own. The dilemma: “What do you give the person who has everything?” Hardly an original question; but when your favorite person on the planet is having a “milestone” birthday, it’s certainly one that you want to answer in the most original way you can. My answer: Essence Day Spa.


Essence only had one Internet review, which was excellent; and it should have been. The entire experience, from booking the appointment to the relaxed look my mom had when I picked her up from her Combo message and pedicure, was exemplary.


In a non-descript strip mall, is a beautiful, tranquil oasis. Everything about Essence sets the mood for calm; the soft lighting, rich dark colors and comfortable furniture in the reception area, the music and the people. I was particularly impressed with the staff. They all struck a nice balance between friendly and professional, with absolutely no dash or pushy or snobby.


So, to Anji, Marius, Kory, and Eliana, thank you all so very much for helping me make my mom’s “milestone” birthday, extra special. To everyone reading this review, Essence has a wide selection of messages, facials, manicures and pedicures. Each of the services can be tailored to the tastes of the client.

If you’d like a spa experience that leaves you feeling like you just had a mini vacation, book an appointment with Essence. I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

This was such a great find. Amazing costumer service and attention to detail. Prices are un-beatable. The entire staff is there to make sure you enjoy every service. We went there for a Bachelorette Party and the service was way more than I could have ever expected. Location is not what you would think, but when you walk through those doors, your transformed to another world filled with peace and relaxation. This is a MUST try.

My husband got me a gift certificate on the internet, which he was able to personalize and print off right there- very cool. So I checked out the web site and it was relaxing just to read! Everyone I spoke to was very friendly; I scheduled a Massage, Facial & Pedicure. From the moment I arrived, the service was very personalized. I mean if I wasn't the only person there, I would never have known because I had so much individual attention. Cory, Simona and Eliana all gave exceptional treatment and service. Simona was extremely knowledgable about skin care, and I have never had a pedicure with so much care & precision as I did with Eliana. I was in Heaven! Everyone must try here!

My friend and I wanted a girls weekend from our spouses. We choose the Basic package - what a wonderful experience. From the initial call for an appointment , to the reminder, to each spa treatment. Very clean and staff are super knowledgeable and friendly. Products are healthy and a thorough assessment of your needs, skin types, etc. is captured in a survey. Daniel is a superior massage therapist. Lauren, Simona, Eliana were very professional and made you feel pampered. The facility is peaceful, clean and relaxing.The only suggestion is to use green products to clean the foot spa tubs instead of a chemical base product.Highly recommend you go to Essence Spa. It is tucked away in the strip mall but worth it. Very reasonable prices and terrific packages. Specials each month and incentive programs.
