Bad Service Company
I agree with the comment below posted by madconsumer. they are a pretty bad pool service company. I'll find someone better to manage my pool.

Worst service in town
The guy taking care of my pool is ok and shows up every week but he never has chemical's to treat our pool properly. What kind of pool service company doesn't have chlorine? I don't think this company is going to be around long for the simple fact is that they can't afford chlorine or acid and the office girl lie's alot when I call there. People beware of this company.

I apologize for the inconvience but we always have the proper chemicals to maintain the pools on a weekly basis. We don't understand why our service techs would say that they don't have chlorine since we provide chlorine and acid every week. Also why would the tech even show up if they don't have the chemicals. All they would have to do is come back to the shop to refill. If the service tech is communicating with you about not having chemicals then we need to know who this service tech is because they are not communicating with us. We have everything they need and if we don't then we get it. This is the first of our knowledge that the tech does not have what they need. Also I don't understand why I am being called a liar. I am always trying to state the facts about each service customer and if I don't know something then I have a knowledgeable tech communicate with the owner. Bryan would like to communicate with you and find out who the service tech is and what the issues with your pool are so he can fix them. Please e-mail.

Let pool turn green
I have had good luck with return calls as long as I make them during normal business hours. Not that great if the vms are after hours. I had two pools. I had asked them to keep me posted on the status of the pools so I could clean the filters or change the water if needed. Suddenly one day one when visiting, I noticed the home's pools turned green. They said they would treat it. Well obviously they never tested the water! This lasts for several weeks of me having to ask them to fix the problem. No one called me. I had to call them. Given it is their job to keep me posted. Turned out the water needed to be drained! So I had to drain it and then treat it for mustard algae and scrub the walls and filter. Cost of 400 dollars through another company. It was their job to tell me I needed to change the water. The employees are not that good. I like the ownership but with employees who could care less, I had to fire them.

It is unfortunate that you had a problem. We do not drain pools in the summer as it can cause cracks in the surface. Also we respond to all green pool calls with the utmost importance. The other issue I have is that we do not have very many customers with multiple accounts and it is very noticable when one drops our service. We have not had very many accounts stop service especially due to service. It is my belief that you have us confused with another company or you are just trying to discredit our company. We do all that we can to communicate problems with the pool as it only cost us more money and more work when things aren't working properly. We are not here after hours or weekends to answer the phone but my wife is always checking messages and returning calls at times we are closed. We are a family owened and operated business and we are not a large service company. We treat all of our customers as if they are the most important customer. If a problem with a pool wasn't taken care of it is normaly not due to lack of communication it is due to lack of response. I am truely sorry that you have had a bad experiance. I don't know who you are but I will refund your last month of service for both pools if you return an email to us. Bryan Treguboff President of Universal Pool Service Inc.

Good Service
I had them come out to do an inspection on my pool because I just moved into a new home with and existing pool and wanted the water checked. John did a great job and was very knowledgable and gave me a lot of good advice so I can do most of the work myself next time.

Cant go wrong with these guys
I have had service with them going on two years and never any problems. All i do is swim in my pool they take care of the rest no worries. Its worth every penny.

Fantastic Service!
We have had Universal Pool servicing our pool for over three years now, and they are fantastic! They respond to any questions or concerns we have in a timely manner, and keep our pool beautiful and clean for our family to enjoy. Thanks Universal Pools!

Things have changed
When John had this pool cleaning company it was by far the best. Since John has left things have changed. Service is poor. The guys have tracked mud over my cool deck, the filter does not get checked, and they've left my gate open and my dogs got loose. I have yellow algae growing in my pool as we speak. I cannot get a reply to cancel my service. I can be reached 8-4 workdays at 602-269-5165. So if you really want the true story call me. I read your post!

These guys service my moms house ( I pay the bill ) I think the guy who comes out does an ok job. But they do have an issue with answering the phone.
