OK buying Experience - Except for Finance
I worked a great price over e-mail with this dealership and brought my own financing. It still took over 3 hours to buy my car though. I was held up by finance. Turns out there wasn't even a finance guy in the dealership while I was waiting. Completely unacceptable. Why couldn't the salesman take my check if no one else was there?
I will not be back.

New Cougar
Bought a Mercury Cougar from Chapman in February 2007. Had to bring it back in March with faulty tires! They fixed it up quickly and were courteous and polite. The service man told me if they sit on the lot for a while they can develop flat spots on the tires??? Never heard of such a thing but they did make it right and were professional about it. I will probably use them for my next one toif the Cougar doesn't get even smaller!

bought a Mark (Lincoln pick-up)
The sales man was nice. The manager was personable. Only problem was that afterwards, when we had a paper problem we couldn't get anyone to return our calls. Finally had to write to Detroit. Then we got satisfaction. I felt we shouldn't have had to go that route.
