Where is customer service?
Today I needed some children's books and four gift cards from this mall bookstore (a total of nearly $200). I expected to be greeted in a friendly manner by a cashier, treated efficiently, and thanked at the end of the transaction. However, the clerk whose nametag read "Jason," never said hello, handled my questions and payment brusquely, and gave me my purchases without a thank you. Now I remember why I seldom set foot inside a physical bookstore any more. Amazon is programmed to appreciate my business.

Always an enjoyable visit
This is a good store. It is laid out well and the staff is helpful and friendly. Good job! It is a good habit to go there and it is easy to reach.

The best selection!
So far,this is my fave B&N because they have an extensive DVD section.I have found very hard to get films at this location.The only downside being that it can be a bit hectic and noisy because right outside is the childrens'play area for the whole Chandler Mall.

WONDERFULL SELECTION
I LOVE TO SHOP FOR BOOKS AT BARNES AND NOBLE. THEY ALWAYS HAVE WAT I WANT. IF THEY DONT HAVE SOMETHING THEY WILL GET IT FOR YOU BY SHIPMENT.

Great Book store and more by Kristi B. at InsiderPages
This is a great book store. We really like the children's section, there is seating available so your child can look over the books first before picking out something to purchase. I also really like their summer reading program, where you pick up a form for your child to fill in, writing info about 8 books s/he read and when you turn it back in, you'll get a coupon for a free book (there is a limited selection). I enjoy their huge selection, bargain books, and they have a little coffe shop as well.
PROS: Great selection, nice bargains, convenient location
CONS: none that I can think of

This Barnes and Noble is located in the Chandler Fashion mall it is in a great location. This is a cool place to study for classes as they have a starbucks inside here. The staff is very laid back and they have some great resources here.

My Favourite Bookstore by Marni A. at InsiderPages
Barnes & Noble is, by far, my favourite bookstore. The kids section is wonderful, with hands on activites and a huge array of books. The cafe is a nice plus too. Barnes & Noble has every book under the sun, or they'll find it for you.

This Barnes and Noble store is located in the Chandler Fashion Square Mall. It is a very nice big store. Selection is always very good. Also there is a starbucks in here. It is a good place to go and study for classes.

Bathrooms Not Clean by Aron S. at InsiderPages
It's funny how a little thing can color your experience of a business. One does not go to a bookstore to use the restroom. In essence this Barnes & Noble is like every other in that they have something for everyone and a Starbucks in the corner. What can make a chain store stand out is the little things like service. In this place it was obvious that the restrooms had not been attended to in some time. When I pointed this out to the staff and returned to the restroom about half an hour later I found that a decidedly half-assed job had been done. I can go anywhere to look at books. But, to get my business it's helpful to have a clean restroom. Don't you think?
