A Business, exactly what it is
CCV spent $26 mil on new youth buildings, yet does not have funds for a young adults service or more than one preacher. The messages are very basic, and do NOT dig very deep into the Bible.

Best place in town!!
What a great place! Lots of friendly and nice people. They have separate services for adults and teens. Lots of fun.

Excellence
I find this church to be wonderfully refreshing. Dr Don Wilson is an amazing speaker who talks straight and honest.
My children have been well servered by the kids ministry with good people and biblical messages. The facility is beautiful and inviting, and the music will stir your soul.

Wonderful friendly non-threatning church
I have been attending CCV for 4 and 1/2 years now. I came there because of a friend who went there invited us. We have a special needs child and had to leave our old church because at the time they didn't have any programs for him to go to, so we had to stop going to church. When I contacted CCV about the fact I had a child with autism, they bent over backwards to help us. They now even have a program for all levels of special needs kids, called CLICK (Christ Likeness in Challenged Kids). I cannot tell you what a difference this church has made in our families life. They have a great kids program that our (normal) daughter loves going too. They even have a restaurant and book store on site. They are always friendly and accomodating, and not pushy. They are still very much Bible based and make no mistake--they speak the truth in love. Give this church a chance, you will not be sorry!

Great Church
This is a great church to learn about Christ and many other subjects. I took classes and learned many things that helped me in all areas of life. I continue to use this knowledge to help others and my own growth.

Best Pastor in the valley!
Dr Don Wilson is so easy to listen to. This church is great. They don't make you feel like you're "doomed" because you are a terrible sinner. They make you feel good about who you are and they seem to be a teaching church more than a preaching church. I have learned so many life skills and positive ways of looking at myself and the world around me. It all seems to make so much sense. I havn't got that much knowledge or encouragement from anywhere else including my phsychologist!

Great Church
This is a great church to attend. It is a very large church with two services on Saturday and Sunday to choose from. They have all kinds of groups for everyone in the family to get involved in. Sometimes I feel that the church is a little too big. When they have events they are great but they are so crowded and a lot of events fill up so fast too. They have absolutely amazing facilities and the church is very nice.

Christs Church of The Valley, otherwise known as CCV, is a HUGE Christian Church serving the West Valley. They currently have about 11,000 people attending their services each weekend.
There are tons of ministries and places you can get involved. We have visited there several times and are considering it for our new church home.
The worship is out-of-this-world. You think you are at a concert. It is a contemporary service style and casual as well.
The pastor's and sermons are relevant. They also do a bunch of outreach events for the community.
CCV is a great church and definitely continuing in the right direction. I would recommend this church to anyone.
PROS: It's HUGE!! Lots of areas for ministry.
CONS: It's HUGE!! You can easily stay anonymous here if you want.

What a wonderful church! Don't let the huge size of the congregation scare you away. It is a little intimidating at first, but everyone is very friendly and the pastor is a great leader as well as speaker. The kids' programs are incredible!
